Leucadia Demolition

Leucadia is a classic old surf town in the north county of San Diego. Many local cars sport bumper sticker that state: "Keep Leucadia Funky" in response to population expansion that, for many, is happening too rapidly thus leading to overgrowth. Many flower fields and green houses have been abandoned to make room for homes. Recently demolition crews in Leucadia took down old sheds, green houses, and makeshift flower stands to make room for home development. After the demolition, Leucadia was home to many new tract home communities. The people who live in Leucadia know that Leucadia is a special town, and they take great pains to ensure the integrity of their homes. Many long-term residents of Leucadia still want to stay because of the close proximity to the ocean. New homes in Leucadia have become increasingly expensive, so remodeling is a fine option for many families. Demolition of existing structures, or partial demolition of structures (such as knocking out a kitchen or garage) is a fabulous way for Leucadia residents to update and feel good about their homes.
