Have you seen the new television show on the Discovery Channel, called Truth Be Told: I’m a Hoarder? It’s amazing that some people are able to live in those conditions, they are living in trash and filth. Most of the time it takes either a family member to pass, or the children to arrive home to visit the parents, and make that phone call to a hauling company to get rid of the years of junk that has been collecting in the years.
Just last week, we had a situation of a mother passing, and her daughter lived in another state. The daughter arrived at her mother’s home in San Diego to begin the process of putting it up for sale. The daughter was in amazement when she discovered all the debris and junk her mom had been storing in closets, basement, attic, garage, and in the backyard. The mother’s collected food, clothes, and baby toys. Since she was not from the area, she mentioned she got online and started looking for hauling companies.
